I was really excited when Susan, the developer of the BreastNest, contacted me about doing a review. After all, I’d seen Marianne Kirby’s post about it and it looked really comfy.

Info from the BreastNest website

As someone who works from home 90% of the time, I’m lucky that I don’t have to wear a bra for much of my day. That being said, the BreastNest kind of feels like not wearing a bra while giving a bit of support and preventing underboob sweatiness (a/k/a the scourge of the the big-breasted and braless).

One of the nice things about the unstructured feel of the BreastNest is that it doesn’t negatively affect your blood and lymph circulation the way my favorite bra probably does.

To be totally honest, I probably wouldn’t wear the Breastnest on its own outside of the house or even under clothes, because I feel like it makes my breasts look extra droopy. However, I think it might look better on someone who is larger than a DD and/or has perkier boobs. Or, perhaps, on someone who doesn’t care about having droopy boobs in public, in which case I completely respect your choice and you should definitely go for it!

It is, however, completely and totally awesome for working from home. I pretty much don’t feel like wearing anything else right now!

(Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a BreastNest for free from the company in consideration for publication of a review.)

“I scheduled a session with Golda because I thought she could really help me explore my body issues and learn to love myself how I am. I anticipated spending some time talking about my current body image and some past experiences that have affected it, as well as my goals for the future. Golda helped me map out what my ideas were for how I would like to see myself and treat my body. It was nice using her methods to imagine my future self-image and get some ideas on how to take small steps toward my goals. Anyone who has dreams of having a positive body image, a healthy relationship with food an…”
